Building Access Control

It is often vital that businesses restrict physical access to different working areas. With a building access control solution, traditional keys are replaced with tokens (e.g. cards, keyfobs), keypads and even biometric readers. Provided they have the necessary authorisation, staff or visitors can gain access to one or more ‘zones’ within a building or complex. To allow dynamic control of staff access privileges, it is possible to link building access control systems to personnel or customer databases. Additionally such systems can provide information about staff attendance (e.g. timesheets) and can even provide a roll-call in the event of a building evacuation.

CCTV

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras are now widely used , but the information they provide is seldom used to best effect. When considered in relation to other factors, such as the time of day, lighting conditions, motion etc., captured CCTV images become a far greater security asset. Alpha Touch can either provide CCTV solutions, or can integrate existing cameras with alarm systems, motion sensors and room occupancy detectors.

Alarm Systems

Once armed, alarms systems use sensors to detect the presence of an exception condition (e.g. intruder, fire, gas leak etc.) and then trigger an alarm and/or generate notifications. Notifications can be made to nominated individuals, monitoring agencies or the police. Frequently an alarm system will be the cornerstone of security process, but it will be more effective and less prone to false alarms if it is linked to other systems such as building access control, CCTV etc. To give its customers greater peace of mind, Alpha Touch continues to pioneer the holistic approach to security.
